Celebrating Creative Futures: MCAST Interior Design Student Presentations
Today, Form brand manager Julian Galea and Draw Interior Designer Sara Brincat had the pleasure of attending the final presentations by the talented Interior Design students at MCAST. As part of an educational collaboration, we were invited to view their work, offer our professional insights, and select our personal favourites to be awarded a special gift.
Each student was tasked with presenting:
- A clear introduction of their project, with site context
- An artistic floor plan
- A project poster
- CGI renders
- A concise concluding summary
What made the presentations especially exciting for us was the integration of branded design: each student incorporated a furniture piece from one of our brands into their moodboard, alongside a bespoke creation of their own design. This brought a strong commercial and conceptual link between classroom learning and real-world application — something we were proud to support.
This initiative followed an earlier visit to our stores, where we had the opportunity to speak with the students about the role of design, the value of brands, and the importance of product quality in shaping beautiful and functional spaces.
At the end of the session, two students were awarded for their exceptional efforts: one received a beautifully curated Molteni&C design book, and another earned the opportunity to have their work featured on our “Moodboard of the Month” section online.
We applaud all the students for their hard work, creativity and passion, and we look forward to welcoming them back to our stores again soon — hopefully as future professionals in the field!
A heartfelt thank you goes to Marianne Camilleri, Jevon Vella, and Nadia Huber for making this inspiring collaboration possible.
