This month’s moodboard looks toward the expressive potential of lines; grids, stripes and shadows that create a sense of order while introducing visual tempo. Linear Rhythms examines how these elements can be translated into interior environments that feel structured, dynamic and intentional.
Guiding the Eye
Lines have always played a role in defining space, but here they become active elements.
The diagonal crossings and elongated shadows in the board highlight how linear forms guide movement and orient people within their surroundings.
In interiors, this becomes a tool for clarity. Directional flooring, striped rugs or ribbed wall panels help organise a space, subtly indicating flow and hierarchy. Lines become a framework for how the user experiences the room.
This contrast is key. Balancing structured architectural elements with softer, more expressive lines creates interior schemes that feel considered rather than rigid.
