Natuzzi Open Art project was born in 2007 as a choice of patronage by Pasquale Natuzzi to take contemporary art into new spaces and make it talk with design. This creates experiential moments that promote inclusiveness and dialogue through creativity in its various forms, from the artist’s gesture to the designer’s vision.

On the occasion of the grand opening of the Natuzzi flagship store in Miami a site-specific installation by Adrien Missika was presented. Adrien Missika French born artist, living between Berlin and Mexico City – has been invited by curator Myriam Ben Salah in recognition of his ability to translate his personal experience of an environment into art that can involve various media, from sculpture to photography, from installations to videos. The project will allow Missika to come into direct contact with Apulia – historically, a land of contamination – and with the company in all those aspects related to the design and the production, but also to the research on materials and the technological experimentation.

Intro

Novembre Studio participated, in collaboration with Natuzzi and Salone del Mobile, in the exhibition “Stanze. Altre filosofie dell’abitare” as part of the XXI Triennale di Milano, with the project Intro. Working on the idea of the bedroom likened to the perfect shape of the egg, Intro is an ideal womb, an ovoid alcove that engulfs the visitor. The mirrored metal outer surface conceals a warm, deep red leather environment, depicting a face that seems to protrude into the room, while on the outside two female figures guard the entrance to the space.

To celebrate the concept The Circle of Harmony – Second Life, Natuzzi Italia has entrusted the artist and designer Marcantonio with an evocative, picturesque installation in the courtyard of the Palazzo Durini Caproni di Taliedo. The goal is to spread to the visitors the spirit of the Circle of Harmony, a croassroad of experiences, influences and creative blendings. Based on the idea of rebirth and aiming at emphasizing the narrow link which connects us to nature and the environment today more than ever, Marcantonio decided to transform one of the most significant courtyards in the center of Milan into a fairytale-like world where gigantic sprouts shoot from the ground, or better said, from
the earth.

marks in this territory, which today, as then, represent an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the Natuzzi Italia brand.
Mediterranean Scrub

In Mediterranean Scrub, Agostino lacurci transforms Natuzzi’s Miami space into a poetic installation blending memory, identity, and landscape. A stylized olive branch on the façade serves as a gateway to an immersive Mediterranean experience. Collaborating with Save the Olives, the project intertwines art and environmental commitment, adding an urgent ecological dimension to lacurci’s Traveling Landscape series and enhancing the impact of his visual language.
