draw studio is a service design platform. led by Sara and Joe, delivering concept-led, multidisciplinary design solutions across scales; from product and FF&E to interiors, architecture, and master planning. Our mission is to create a better everyday life for people in their spaces and the environment.
About Sara Brincat
Sara, with over 20 years of experience in Interior Design, most of which based in Hospitality, worked on some of the world’s most prestigious hotels in locations from London to Barbados during her years at award-winning company Richmond Design, before moving back to her homeland Malta. Her portfolio of work ranges from consultation, as well as working through projects from concept through to schematic, and detailed design. Specializing in FF&E which focuses on the selection of, or the bespoke design of, all furnishings and fittings within the interior space, from carpet to lighting design to fabrics finishing and detailing. Taking projects through construction stage, fit-out and up to completion, down to the final choice of cutlery and art.
About Joe Galea
Joe is a warranted Architect and Civil Engineer with a Master’s in self-sufficient buildings and digital fabrication from IaaC, Barcelona. His work spans multiple scales—from robotics and furniture to architecture and master planning; with a strong focus on environmental restoration through data-driven digital tools. He has collaborated with internationally recognised architecture and consultancy firms, including Advance Architecture Nous (LA), MIT Fab Lab Barcelona, Architecture Project Malta, and as co-founder of FabLab Valletta. Combining experience in startups, business development, and construction, Joe brings a holistic, hands-on approach to each project. He is currently leading projects including the Verdala International School master plan and construction, a boutique hotel in Senglea, several farmhouse-to-residential conversions, and the Form Ltd showroom conversion.
